Howes Cave- Kirk Roberts, of Howes Cave, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 in Cobleskill.

Kirk was the son of the late Charlotte B. Roberts and Roy F. Roberts, Jr. Kirk was born on July 10, 1959 in Sharon, CT and spent most of his early childhood with his parents and brothers, Frank and Steve, on the "Brooks Dairy Farm" in Pine Plains, NY. He had many fond memories of his years there. Kirk attended school in the Pine Plains district.

In addition to his parents, Kirk was predeceased by his brothers, Roy "Frank" Roberts, III and Steven Mark Roberts. He was also predeceased by his beloved girlfriend, "Sis". Kirk is survived by aunts, one uncle, cousins, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He also leaves behind many friends from throughout his life.

A graveside service in celebration of his life will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Pine Plains, NY at 12:30 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2013 with his cousin, Rev. Martin Brooks, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 795 E. Main St., Suite 11, Cobleskill, NY 12043.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill and Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home of Middleburgh.
