Cobleskill- Antonette (Toni) Uniszkiewicz passed away peacefully Friday, January 17, 2014. Born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY to the late Olga (Juskewicz) and Michael Malkus on July 17, 1935. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Leon (Leo) Uniszkiewicz; brother, Stanley, and sisters, Dorothy and Mary.

Antonette is survived by her sister Anna; four children: Joanne Yatrakis of Sloansville, Stephen and Patricia Uniszkiewicz of Yorktown, VA, Katherine and Paul Nelson of Binghamton, and Christine and Keith Kraemer of Sloansville; nine grandchildren: Christopher, Nicole (Victor), Nicholas (Lisa), Stephen (Daniela), Jonathan, Brian, Lauren, Morgan, and Jeremy; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helen Schneck; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Antonette retired from Chase Manhattan Bank in 1993 as an Assistant Branch Manager with over 25 years of service. She was a member of the Summit Seniors, an active member of the Jefferson Seniors Club where she represented Jefferson as an alternate director on the Senior Council, and a member of the Schoharie County Red Hat Society. Toni also enjoyed many evenings playing bingo with her friends and the trips to the many casinos.

She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cobleskill.

The family will receive friends at the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill from 2-4 and 6 -8 PM on Thursday, January 23rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Friday, January 24th at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill with Rev. Jeffrey L'Arche as celebrant. Cremation will follow Mass at Vale Crematory.
