Middleburgh- Anthony E. Piragnoli, Jr., 50, of Squaw Trail, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Albany Medical Center.

Born February 9, 1962 in Bronx, he was the son of Anthony and Emma (Bottlio) Piragnoli, Sr.

Tony had lived in Middleburgh most of his adult life. For over thirty years, he was a truck driver for Mayflower. Most recently he drove for Rist Transport.

A collector of model cars, he also enjoyed his 1999 corvette and listening to rock music on his compact discs.

From his son, Alexander Kouse, who survives him: "You taught me how to survive in today's life, taught me what it means to work hard. I don't know where I'd be if you didn't come into my life and bring me in to yours. I will always continue to strive and make you proud. I love you, Dad."

Tony is also survived by his girlfriend, Karen Williams, of Middleburgh, and several aunts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Valley, Main Street, Middleburgh, NY.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh and Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
